Dosage and Administration

Acute viral hepatitis:

Drops              Syrup               Tablet

Infants: 5 to 10 t.i.d.                 –                    –

Children: 10 to 20 t.i.d.           5 ml t.i.d.         1 t.i.d.

Adults:            –                      10 ml t.i.d.       2 t.i.d.

Alcohol-induced liver damage:

Syrup: 10 to 15 ml t.i.d.

Tablet: 2 to 3 tablets t.i.d.

Anorexia and suboptimal growth:

Drug-induced hepatitis:

Liv.52 DS syrup/DS tablet: 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls/tablets b.i.d. with anti TB/statin/chemotherapy/antiretroviral treatment.

Jaundice and anorexia during pregnancy:

Liv.52 DS syrup/DS tablet: 1 teaspoonful/tablet b.i.d. for 8 weeks.

Chronic active hepatitis:

Liv.52 DS syrup/DS tablet: 2 teaspoonfuls/tablets b.i.d. for 6 months

Early cirrhotic conditions:

Liv.52 DS syrup/DS tablet: 1 teaspoonful/tablet t.i.d. for 6 to 12 months
